Dr. Birdwell is pleased to announce his participation as Medical Director of the Bariatric Metabolic Institute at Medical City Plano. The bariatric clinic will be hosting a grand opening at their newly renovated office space on Thursday, July 18th, from 4:00-5:30 PM.

We have been providing life-changing care and interventions for our bariatric population for over a year.

For the first time at Medical City Plano, Thomas Heffernan, MD, gynecologic oncologist performed a robotic hysterectomy and Russ Birdwell, MD, bariatric surgeon performed a robotic gastric sleeve on Robyn Mims.

For Chris and Sara Peterson, 2019 will bring an end to a long battle with weight gain.
